My prior practice as a yoga therapist and training as a birth and end-of-life doula all infuse my practice with a unique and holistic approach to support clients throughout the life cycle, especially through life's most challenging transitions. Incorporating my training as a Yoga Therapist, I integrate mindfulness-based and somatic practices with cognitive behavioral, strengths based and interpersonal practices and Internal Family Systems, supporting clients to access and leverage the inner resources that move them towards short and long term life goals with resilience, integrity, and connection. I am known for compassionate presence, skillful challenging and discerning self-disclosure for therapeutic means based on expansive life experience .
Program Cycles:
Therapy ideally begins on a regular weekly basis; in some cases, it proceeds that way indefinitely, but often, after 3-6 months, it shifts to biweekly and eventually even monthly or as needed. My goal is always to support clients in meeting their time-bound goals and offering ongoing support as needed.
